Should Britain Stay or Leave the EU?

Five reasons for Britain to stay in the EU

  • We will still be able to have freedom of movement in all 28 eu states so we won’t have to apply to live in a certain country.
  • We will be able to have free trade with all the member states of the EU
  • 3.5 Million of the jobs in the Uk are linked to our EU membership.
  • British citizens would get lower phone tariffs and lower
  • We also get much stricter enviromental regulations in the EU and it helps improve Britain’s green spaces

Five reasons to leave the EU

  • We would be able to make better trade agreements with countries outside the EU
  • We would not have to pay the £13billion fee to be in the EU which we could spend on other important sectors.

Chapter 14 Great Expectations Summary

This chapter is very short but helps us understand Pips feelings of being ashamed of his home, mainly due to the constant chastising by Mrs. Havisham and Estella over Pip being ‘working class’. Pip also continues with his apprenticeship as a blacksmith with Joe and even “dreaded” seeing “Estella looking in at one of the wooden windows of the forge”.
